Opis : Cilj projekta je produbljivanje znanja o istorijsko-arheološkim istraživanjima italijanskih naučnika u Crnoj Gori, od prvih misija koje su realizovane u drugoj polovini XIX vijeka, do danas.Izvještaji italijanskih diplomata i njihova korespondencija sa članovima misija koji su krajem XIX i početkom XX vijeka istraživali različite lokalitete u Crnoj Gori, posebno iz rimskog i srednjevjekovnog perioda, su veoma značajni, posebno zbog loše sačuvane dokumentacije o tim lokalitetima i njihove devastacije. Za vrijeme II svjetskog rata, posebno u toku italijanske okupacije Crne Gore (19141-1943), pojačala se italijanska zainteresovanost za crnogorsku kulturnu baštinu.


The project aims to deepen the role of Italian archaeological research in Montenegro from the first missions carried out in the second half of the nineteenth century, until today. The reports of Italian diplomats and their correspondence with the members of the missions that between the end of the 19th century and the early twentieth century have done research on various Montenegrin sites, especially from Roman and medieval times are very important, due to the scarce documentation and sometimes even the destruction of some monuments over time. During the Second World War, particularly during the years of the Italian occupation of the Montenegrin territory (1941-1943), the Italian interest in local cultural heritage became stronger.
